Participant education is absolutely critical to comply with new 404(c) guidelines. Education program are equally important as they provide participants with information enabling them to make investment decisions that are consistent with their present and future goals.
Oliver Capital Management provides participants with group educational meetings to discuss plan enrollment, investment options, and to give participants information and a core knowledge base to help them make better investment elections. We offer meetings at the time of initial enrollment and on recurring basis according to an agreed upon schedule.
All prospective and current participants have access to an online web site providing education information that will help them make better investment and plan participation decisions for retirement.
Each Plan will receive customized retirement plan and education materials containing comprehensive information to be distributed to employees that enable them to effectively make investment selections. We also provide customized election forms, and if you are using the Oliver Capital Management Model Portfolios, the forms will graphically illustrate our model portfolios and individual ETF options.
For those that qualify or have significant personal net worth, we will provide these individual employees one-on-one sessions to assist them in making their investment selection and asset allocation decisions in conjunction with an understanding of their entire financial composition. These on-site meetings allow more individualized questions from participants regarding asset allocation, risk, return, savings levels, and direction relating to how their retirement plan account fits in their overall investment portfolio.
At minimum, we will prepares a quarterly report that is delivered to all plan participants. Typically, this contains market currents, investment results, and outlook for the future. These will be made available in physical and electronic versions to plan participants. Additionally, we can provide quarterly or annual on-site meetings.
